"A star is born" said his father on a cold February morning. Since that day, Abshiva is used to Since his childhood, he's been imagining himself as a conductor. Right after he met the producing side of the electronic music world while he's studying Industrial Engineering in university, he realized he can become a conductor - in his own orchestra.
Traveling all around the Europe for observing the artists and events has become an ordinary case for Abshiva. The successful education he had from a Times-Higher-Education ranked university has always pushed him to break his limits - to believe that there's always room for improvement. Even though the circumstances are rough for him, he's never quitted making music.
Ordinarily making his studio sessions in his hometown Ankara, Abshiva never stayed in one place (Amsterdam, Istanbul, Berlin) so he can get exposed to different cultures, which prospered his vision on making music. While making these trips, he discovered the darker side of himself and began to produce tracks suited to the underground scene under the alias of Xeph.
Both as Abshiva and Xeph, he pulled attention with his tracks from the international electronic music platforms such as EDM.com, AIA, Soundspace, EDMTunes, Capital Crown, House of Vibes, etc. Shortly after featuring his music on these platforms, the labels have become eager to release Abshiva's music. Dealing with many labels but not finding any suitable one, Solstice Records was the one for Abshiva's "Oryx EP" and "Oryx Remixes EP". The original track were played on UK radios, and the remixes by Grensta, William Vance, Jeremy Rowlett and Gimpland have made their ways to famous electronic music platforms (Insomniac , EDM.com, EDMTunes) as well as to the playlists of the famous artists - one of them was Max Graham who Abshiva deeply respects.
Willing to share his music, in 2014 - due to the lack of venues and political issues in his hometown - he's founded his own festival with his own team in Ankara, in which he closed the stage. The festival went onto the national newspapers, and a famous magazine in Turkey covered his exclusive interview about getting into the local scene. After that festival, Abshiva has been getting plenty of offers to perform, yet only a few of them suited his vision where he could play his music, freely.
Couple of months later while performing locally, he took his show to Eskisehir with his stage friend Dedda and played in a country-wide famous performance hall. The echoes of their show in Eskisehir came all the way to Ankara, Abshiva & Dedda had to perform another show in his hometown, this time in a signature venue in Turkey - IF Performance Hall.
Since then, Abshiva occasionally performs in local venues, but mostly he's concentrating on improving himself in a musical way - to prove his dear departed father right that a star was really born.
